Comfort

Sometimes we all feel a little lost.
Sometimes we lose our hope. (Seems we’re living in such times).
We need to put our arms around these feelings as if they’re young ones
inside of us. Pull them up on our laps.
These are not “bad” feelings.
Comforting them will not keep them longer.
Let them know you’re sorry they’re struggling.
Assure them that you’re here for them.
Ask them what they need.
Do not *feed* them stories, fears, and doubts.
Rock them, hug them, sing to them.
Soon they will soften, exhale and let go.
What *young feelings* need more of your attention?
